Kiek in de Kök – Tallinn

“Kiek in de Kök” is a former cannon tower located in Estonia’s capital, Tallinn. Built in 1475, the tower stands 38 meters high. During the Livonian War, the structure was partially destroyed; the cannonballs still embedded in its outer walls today serve as a lasting memorial to that damage. Following its reconstruction and extensive restoration, the tower now houses a branch of the Tallinn City Museum, showcasing the city’s multifaceted defensive history.

The redesign of the exhibition utilizes minimalist FRANK acrylic showcases, presenting historical exhibits such as weapons and armor in a modern and transparent manner.
