The costume parts are incredibly fragile and vulnerable. Black-dyed fabrics, for example, are subject to a process of decay that cannot be stopped. They \u201ccrumble\u201d and textiles are also very sensitive to light. Suitable display cases had to be purchased for the exhibits, and the light intensity in the exhibition must not exceed 50 lux. Therefore, dark backgrounds are preferred, which allow the exhibits to be shown to their best advantage in low light. Care must be taken to ensure that the exhibition is so well prepared that the textiles have to be moved as little as possible during installation to avoid shocks.<\/p>\n
